PRAYER BRINGS CHANGE

COMMAND YOUR MORNING

Job 38:12-13 “Have you commanded the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place, that it might take hold of the ends of the earth…”
While God was stating His omnipotence to Job, He was challenging Job to repent and submit to His lordship. As members in the body of Jesus Christ, we have been given His authority in the realm of the spirit to do all that Jesus has already completed. Certainly Jesus was present at the creation of the earth. John 1:2-3 “He (Jesus) was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made”.
Morning is more than a time of day, a sunrise, more than a clock. Morning is the end of darkness, a night season; it is the dawning of light, new vision, freshness, and renewed expectations. Morning is the revelation that there are endless possibilities in the Lord, that we have a hope and a future.
In the darkness we cannot see all things that exist around us. When the light of day comes, all things which existed in the darkness are illuminated and become visible. It is revelation from the Holy Spirit, who opens our eyes so that we can see clearly what we were unable to see before.
Commanding your morning….. YOU are establishing divine assignments for your day. The words that you speak are seeds that will produce Godly fruit, no fruit, or deadly fruit. Even if you do not see the result of negative speaking, growth of that seed will generate in the spiritual realm. We pray that the Holy Spirit place a watch over our mouths. God said in Deut 30:19-20 “ I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life that both you and your descendants may live, that you may love the Lord your God, that you many obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days…”
COMMAND (def) to give instruction, orders, mandate, or supervise, or regulate, structure
Job 22:28 “And you will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways”.
John 14:14 “If you ask anything in My name, I will do it”.
The words that you speak out of your mouth can transform your life. We are instructed by the Word in I Corin 10:5 “casting down imaginations (arguments, thoughts) and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ…”.
Your thoughts are the conduit of your reality which then produce words that can set your reality. Your thoughts and words reproduce themselves in actions, actions become habit, habit becomes character, and character sets your destiny.
Your destiny does not have to look like your history; your destiny does not have to be a mystery. Each day you have the power and ability to alter your course of your destiny and change the quality of your life. We undermine our success in negative speaking. Change your words, you will change the quality and direction of your life for the purposes of God.
