Why Should Christians Vote?

This is an election year like no other in our American history.  Our nation’s future appears to hang on a delicate thread.  In the truth of God’s Word, this nation’s future is in the hands of the Christian believers.
We are getting information overload.  Every day there is a “new” reporting of some scandal concerning one of the presidential candidates.  Media cannot be trusted, government cannot be believed, people’s opinions are wavering with each onslaught of timely released news stories.  How do the American people wade through the accusations, the partial truths, and false rhetoric?  How can they rightly discern without the Spirit of the Lord?
God established the kingdom of God as a government.  Our forefathers came to America for religious freedom and formed our government of Bible values. We believe that God is now raising up the leader of our country to redeem America back to Himself.  Believers are called to humble themselves, pray, and seek the face of God, and turn from their wicked ways, then God will hear from heaven, forgive our sins, and restore our land.  We stand in the gap for America.   Stop judging in the flesh.  You have a part in God’s plan; vote for Christian values according to the Bible.  It is given to us to bring the changes needed to advance God’s kingdom.
We, believers in Jesus Christ, are kings and priests in His kingdom who are given authority to  decree and declare God’s kingdom principles in the earth.  Do not be caught up by all the fiery darts of the enemy; distractions and deceptions.  Put on the whole armor of God, stand, and pray until victory has been won in the earth to glorify our God.
